Sustainable Development Goals Seminar

On 9th of September, 2019, the students of BOBAS International Group of School Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti State attended a seminar at the Oba’s Palace organized by one of the Ambassadors of Sustainable Development Goals Aderibigbe Semiat Temitayo, it was a great experience for the students as they were enlightened about one of the SDGs goals which is career orientation, about 5 different motivational speakers were invited for the seminar. The students present were Omotayo Favour, Olajiga Michael, Jegede Victor and three other students accompanied by the School Principal (Mr. Awe J.O).

PTA Meeting Ends in Happiness as Parents, Teachers strive to achieve a good results

A PTA meeting turned wonderful on Wednesday as teachers and parents of BOBAS International Group of School, Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti State engaged to a series of goal. Reports had it that the school management list out the basic new rules and regulations of the school to the parents which could help to improve the school standard, and some issues which worsen the school standard were addressed also, one of  them is the late payment of school fees and inability to pay till the end of term, and mode of addressing of students which the parents don’t correct their children before they leave the house to school. The meeting came to agreement when one of the parents gave a good remark to the teachers. In attendance was 31 parents, 5 five managements team and 16 teachers.

Bobas Visits NTA

Visit to NTA

on 24th August 2019, the students of Bobas international group of school Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti State were taken on an excursion to the Nigeria Television Authority in Ado-Ekiti, this is the state broadcasting station. The students had already been given a preview to a broadcasting station in their classroom and ICT laboratory. Being a first visit for many, they were excited to experience moments that had been described to them in the ICT laboratory. The broadcasting station has different sector (engineering, telecommunication, broadcasting). The students were curious to know more about each sector in the station. The students were cytomel side effects introduced to various sector and their functions. the teachers patiently pointed out interesting features, thus helping them stretch their little ‘banks of information’ on Broadcasting Station. The number of students is 27 while the staff teachers are just 3. the visit gave our students the special opportunity to observe the processes and activities, something their books and pictures can’t explain better. it was a great experience for both the students and the teachers.
